Thoughts on this week’s Parsha

Shabbat Shalom dear friends 💖 May we have a peaceful and meaningful Shabbat 💖 May we see The Temple restored now 💖 May the words of our beloved Torah guide us 💖

This week’s Parsha is talking about our Temple, sacrifices, Priestly garments, curtain and much more. All of the descriptions are very precise and clear as things need to be done a particular way – no more, no less.

This is a very hard thing to do. What is this exact measure? How to figure out when to stop and check yourselves to fulfill our role, without overdoing it? This is not an easy task in our everyday lives. At least not for me……

G-d instructed Moses “you shall speak to all the wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom”. It’s becoming clear that people can become wise hearted, yet wisdom of spirit comes from G-d alone. So let’s work on ourselves to fill our hearts with wisdom and be receptive to receive wisdom of spirit.

Just one more very personal reflection. When visiting Temple institute, it was an amazing growing to realize that the Priestly garments are not looking the way imagined by myself when reading the Parsha (or even looking at pictures). Somehow it was both – much more profound, yet much less pompous with a strong sense of something must bigger than words can describe. Deeping into this feeling helps me in my journey.

Shabbat Shalom dear friends
